Need Clarification with these two sentences.

1. The people seating in the open stands were drenched in the heavy downpour. (I feel the answer should be "seated")

2a. We can go to either Japan or England for holiday.
2b. We can either go to Japan or England for holiday.
(Both 2a and 2b are grammatically correct, but 2a sounds better with a stronger grammatical stance?)

Just a point about using the language at the right time, right place,in the right context and correctly. " feel free to drop your opinions" is incorrect. when one is soliciting help, in your case asking for clarification, the tone of voice is expected to be humble and courteous

Hi,

If you start by saying to me
We can either go to Japan or England for a holiday.. . .
I will wonder if you are going to continue by saying eg
. . . or we can stay home.
