need approval of a description of a big idea

here's a big idea description for a unit plan assignment I'm working on, please comment:

The changes I suggest are more for style.
Raen A new question is, do I need to add a "the" preceding "dependent variable" then?
No: the first serves for both.

Anonymousthe value of one quantity called independent variable predicts that of the other called dependent variable.
This is a comment on the mathematics, not the grammar.

I question this word choice. The value of the independent variable determines the value of the dependent variable.

It may also predict it in some sens

You are right. Thanks for bringing that up.
