Need advice on a sentence, thx soooo much! quite urgent! =)

Hello everyone,

Please advise if the sentence below is grammatically correct. Does it need fine-tuning?

Many, many thanks for helping!

Being able to return to school to obtain a degree would definitely be an enormous shot in the arm for me.

There's nothing wrong with it. I might suggest a substitute for "enormous": significant, helpful, great. "Obtain" might be replaced by "earn", which is a little more common.
