Letter Writing

Need a help with a Complaint letter/Homework

I wonder if you guys can take a look on this complaint letter to the ticket company that i wrote and tell me if it's correct.

(Teacher said we don't have to put the date, adresses etc.)

Dear Sir or Madam

I am writing to inform you of my dissatisfaction with incompetence of your company.

On March 28th I ordered two tickets for the Muse concert in your internet store. The concert was scheduled for 1st April but i did not recieve tickets until 3rd April. Furthermore, I rang your company three times before 1st April and every single time I was assured by your customer service that the tickets would arrive on time.

As a result, I missed the concert and i spent money for useless tickets that were pretty expensive. Therefore I request a full refound to the amount of $130. If these conditions are not met, I am afraid i may be forced to take legal action ( i know that warning is optional)

I look forward to hearing from you shortly.

Yours faithfully

Anonymous with incompetence of your company This is too confrontational. Be nicer if you wish a nice response. Anonymous 1st April April 1st ; write it as you would speak it.

What's important here is to write dates in a consistent way. The OP should either write all the dates in the letter the American way, with the month before the day, as in April 1st; or, the non-American way, with the day before the month, as in 1st of April.
