Need a few Native speakers' opinion

Have you ever heard 'be stark difference to'?
Are these sentences correct? Would you you ever use 'stark difference'?

The millions of dollars made in 2011 are a stark difference to the $200000 made in 2009.

That number is a stark difference to this number.

Thank you

"stark difference" is not wrong in itself, but "A is a stark difference to B" is incorrect, just as "A is a difference to B" is incorrect. It seems to be a mixup with some expression like "in stark contrast to".
