Necessity of the adverb immensely: [want to the food immensely]

I have made up the example below.

(1) Please don't bother me when I'm eating. I want enjoy the food immensely.

My non-native English speaking friends think the adverb is not needed.

Is it OK to use it in this context? Thank you very much.

Not really. It seems odd.

If they bother you, you will enjoy the food, but not "immensely" That is a very strange thing to say.

Use a different verb.

I want to savor the food.
