Nature was at its most splendid.

Hi

Could you please shed some light on the underlined structure? Only # 1 is from a dictionary. The rest are my examples.  I want to know if I can use any noun with any adjective.

Nature was at its most spectacular.
Nature was at its most splendid.
The river was at its most serene.
Tom was at his most aggressive.

Thanks,

Tom
