Hello, dear teachers. I have a question and I would appreciate it immensely if you can help me with it. I read requirements in job's offer and stumbled across the combination of words which I would like to be clarified.
"background in natural language processing". Does it mean that it's an asset to have strong communication skills and an ability to express yourself clearly?

Natural language processing usually refers to certain computer-related skills, such as parsing, part of speech tagging, text mining, etc. It has nothing to do with communication skills. Sounds like a job for someone with a computer science degree.
