1 is not right. It should be "Put a square around the wrong word."

2 is not right. There's no such word as "quadrangular." It should be: "Put the wrong word inside a quadrangle."

3 is theoretically grammatical but awkward-sounding. The word "frame" is not used in a situation like this.

4 is not right. It should be "Draw a border around the wrong word."

Then, how about "Put a quadrangle around the wrong word", "Put the wrong word inside a square (though what the speakers really draw might not be square)" and "Draw borders around the wrong word"?

The usual and natural instruction is simply Circle the incorrect word.

Circles are easier to draw.

Actually, I need both of two shapes. Could you tell me whether 'quadrangle' and 'square' are interchangeable with each other in a casual conversation like the above sentences?

Neither is a natural instruction.
I suggest
eg
Circle the verbs.
Underline the nouns.

Then, how about "Draw the box/square/quadrangle around the subjects"?

Sorry. It is not "Draw the ~", but " Draw a ~".

Draw a square correct grammar
Draw a quadrangle English native speakers are unlikely to know what you mean. Do you mean a rectangle?

I keep advising you not to say these things.

Why I asked these questions is just to clarify everything that make me confused.
You know, it doesn't mean at all that I will say as I asked.
