Natural expression

Does "a hundred fifty years" or "a hundred seventy-five centimeters' sound natural? Or, should it be "one hundred ~"?

Top answer

Both are fine. I suppose you could say that "one" feels slightly more formal. In conversation people probably tend towards "a" because it is easier to say.
