Native structure of "I have not read the Email yet"

Hello,

Today's afternoon, my boss just stopped by my office and asked about my thoughts about the project (he emailed me earlier, I just did not notice it). So I answered "I have not read your email yet".

I am not sure whether it is native?

thanks,

it's plenty native so say that, although people usually use contractions and pronouns and say "I haven't read it yet"
