How would you phrase these?

The duvet cover has 2 ends, one for the feet, one for the head. The duvet wasn’t placed on the bed properly

This duvet cover has buttons on one end which is the foot of the duvet (where your feet go) the duvet was place on the bed so that the buttons were to the side of the bed not at the foot of the bed .

Do you understand or isn’t in not clear? Sorry if I’m not clear.

How would you naturally phrase this?

1 The end where the feet are supposed to be is on the side/at the top of the bed where our heads are.

2 Could you rotate the blanket 90 degrees so that the foot of the blanket is at the foot of the bed.

3 Could you turn the blanket end for end so that the foot of the blanket is at our feet not our heads.
