Native-like or not no. 26 - social insurance

Dear All,

Could you please tell me if the following sentence sounds natural to your ears? What would you correct here?

To be honest, I'd much prefer to get social insurance because my previous company has been paying for it and if I stayed in this country for a prolonged period of time I could get some retirement pension from the government in the future.

Thanks
