Native-like or not

Dear All,

If you don't mind, I'd like to ask a few questions about the following sentence:

When do you think next training sessions will take place and will they be connected with the one that took place on Saturday (Sep 20th) or not? If yes, will there be a chance to take the same training in the future?

1) Would you say it sounds native-like? If not, would you please point out what's wrong about it or what a native speaker wouldn't say?

2) next training sessions - do we need a definite article in front of this phrase?

3) will they be connected with the one that took place on Saturday (Sep 20th) or not - is this question correct?

4) I think connected is followed by to, not with

5) would it be better to rephrase this question "will they be connected with the one that took place on Saturday (Sep 20th) or not" into ---> will they be connected to the one that took place on Saturday (Sep 20th) or will they be separate trainings?

I feel it's a bit awkward with will being repeated twice.

Thanks a million

  • Also, it is not very clear exactly which session(s) "the same training" refers to.
