National

"WA Police have seized a record 321kg of ice with a street value of more than $320 million, and $1.4m in cash, in a joint operation with the Australian Crime Commission.

Police revealed the haul at a press conference this morning.

About 315kg of the drug was found at one Canning Vale property on Tuesday.

It was packed in suitcases and in packs of Chinese tea.

Four Hong Kong nationals charged over the drug haul." .......................................................

Is it proper to use "nationals" in this story?

The term 'national' is commonly used by the media.. I don't know if residents of HK are considered as Hong Kong nationals or as Chinese nationals. It's perraps a delicate political question.
