Write a paragraph about your memorable memories.

I am positive that all people have their own memorable memories, which always make them stirred with happy and nostalgic feeling when recalled. To me, one of the most memorable memories is the time I spent with my best friend on our school trip to the countryside. Actually, there were no big or dramatic events between us on that trip; it may be just the most peaceful, meaningful time we have had up to now. Sitting next to each other on the bus, watching we talked about many things. However, I had already realized that there was somewhat an invisible wall between us. We did not know why, perhaps because of some small fights before and our being too young and too insensitive. Day by day, it was harder and harder for us to talk genuinely face-to-face. But that trip was a wonderful gift. The peace, quiet and picturesque scenery in the countryside seemed to be a perfect chance for us to save our relationship. As a team of two, we did lots of activities planned by our school, such as fish-catching competition, preparing our lunch on our own with the caught fish, flying kite,… Unfortunately, I had a slight fever that afternoon, which meant I could not go to the countryside market as planned. He could have gone by himself; however; he chose to stay by my side, which resulted in us remaining in the lodge with few people. He started the conversation first, saying how happy he was when staying with me and how our relationship became awkward. The surroundings were so quiet that I could even hear his breath, the wind, the rustling of the leaves. The setting sun cast orange glows over the endless mountains, the infinite fields; its crimson rays gently embraced us, as if encouraging us to show more feelings. And so, I conveyed those feelings to him; I wanted him to know that I treasured this friendship, that I never wanted to us to be distant like that, and I wanted to protect this relationship as it used to be. The moment I saw his smile, and he saw mine, I–or we–knew that there was no wall between us anymore. Many things happened later on, but that moment was always engraved deeply in my heart. It was one of the most beautiful memories I had, and I am sure that it will never fade out of my mind.
