Hi, please help me in getting right answers

The magistrate said to Gandhi ji', Take off your cap'.
[ indirect] The magistrate ordered Gandhiji to take off your/his cap.

The father said', Work hard for better tomorrow'.
[indirect] The father advised to work hard for better tomorrow/ the next day.

The boys said', Do you complete the work?'
[indirect] The boys asked if i /you/ they completed the work

To me, in first sentence'his ' is ok . as according to the rules, pronouns are changed. here,' tomorrow 'with for better seems ok too. as we usually use this word in our everyday life and looks like universal truth. & in last sentence 'you' should not be changed while making indirect narration.

great confusion help!
