Nappies (not diapers)?

British Xfactor former judge Louis Walsh says "he'll have to judge tours with nappies" and I don't know what he means or if the word is frequently used with other meaning. Nappies is BrE for AmE diapers and in slang it seems to be 'disgusting' as an adjective. So what's 'nappies' in this sentence?
Thanks
