Another pronunciation poll thread.
How do you pronounce these words - specifically the ending. Is it "ee-ah" or "yah"?

For those three, "yah" for me. But a lot of other -ia words are -ee-ah (India, Beatlemania, Batavia).

No rule governs my usage where
Julia has three syllables ending ee-ah, like Pia, dahlia, but California has four, ending nya.
