Name "Rodvin"

Hi everyone,

I live in the U.S. and I am 38 weeks pregnant with a baby boy. I have picked the name "Rodvin" for my baby which means victorious gentelman in my language, Persian.

Now, my questions are:

Is this name easy to pronounce in English?
Does this name bring any negative connotation in mind (since English is my second language I cannot tell)?

My goal is to pick a name with nice meaning which is easy to pronounce and spell in English so that other kids at school don't make fun of my son later at school.

I really appreciate your views on this name.

Thank you.

I like it. Some people might hesitate when they pronounce it cause it looks very exotic though. If you want a name that's easier to pronounce could also try Rowan.

Hi

I think that's a great name. You must choose the name that's right at the time

In the UK we he have 'Rodwin' from Wales and 'Ragnar' from Scandinavia. They have similar meanings - a brave warrior

So, yes, you must go with the name that sounds best to you. 'Rodvin' sounds OK to me
