Naked ambition?

Hi,
What does the expression "naked ambition" mean? Is it a common one? Can I derive an adjective and say " naked-ambitious"? Please provide your answer with some examples

That might be nakedly ambitious, but it is not likely to make much sense.

Naked ambition is ambition that is extremely obvious. We also have the expressions: naked truth (truth bared to reveal everything), the naked ape (mankind), naked aggression, and quite a few others

It would probably be "nakedly ambitious." (a nakedly ambitious person)

But as A/S has pointed out, these naked "prefixes" have resulted in fixed expressions --- and it's rather difficult to create new ones on demand.
