N-days rush order

Dear teachers,

Am I right with the following interpretation?

- We started this new business and it's really kicking a**es. Yesterday, for example, we shipped things out to London, it was an one-day rush order. And... now we have to make those and get them going too!

- What's the rush?

- Oh... Three days.

What's the rush = what time has been given to make the product and ship it out

Thanks

No. I am asking if 'What's the rush = what time has been given to make the product and ship it out' is reasonable.

Let me paraphrase it:

Is 'rush' in this case the time asked by costumers? Eg. The rush for those products is 24 hours, meaning the manufactures needs to make the product and make it get to the costumer's house in 24 hours.

No, say "What's the deadline?" or "What's your ship date?" or "How much time do you have to do it?"

Also, you kick a**, not a**es. I assume you know it's mildly vulgar. It also usually means that you're beating someone else. If you want to just say that it's going great, you could say that it's going gangbusters.

Thank you both very much!
