'N

A question (from a student of mine).
-------
My town is on the news
Some guys is spreading the blues
Can't get this girl out of his head
N' all the things he should've said
-------
What does N' mean here?

I think it's an abbreviation of "and", but I'm not sure on this one...

It is an abbreviation of "and." I've seen this done in many ways -- 'n, n' or 'n'. Maybe poetic licence allows this, as it does "o'er."
