Do we use the word MYSELF after the words RECOLLECT, REMEMBER?

I would agree. In writers of the 18th and 19th centuries, you may encounter "to recollect oneself" with the meaning "to regain one's composure".

So today we would say: I recollected that.... I remembered that.........

And in the past they would say: I recollected myself that....... I remembered myself that............ Right?

Not quite – in the past, they would also have said "I remembered/recollected that". But they might also have said "I recollected myself" with the separate meaning "I regained my composure".

Hi,

You might be interested in the current although somewhat formal expression, 'I forgot myself', meaning that I did something carelessly, ie forgetting the reasons why I shouldn't do it.
