My writing about floods in my area

Floods have become an increasing issue that many countries all over the world, especially in the urban areas, are deeply concerned about at the time they are in the process of development. To widely urbanize increasing the watertight surface and the sewage system not satisfying the requirement of the draning water are the main reasons which directly affect the rising of floods. According to the result of statistics and field research, Bien Hoa city has 26 places which are flooded and among them 15 places are frequently flooded. The students have used the remote sensing method in order to give support to make the map of land use and floodplain following each period 1900, 2000, 2010 and 2017. The result shows that there were 10 flooded areas corresponding to 27,40% of the rate of concretization in the period 1990 – 2000. Over the next 10 years, the flooded areas rose by 18 places corresponding to 37,97% of the rate of concretization. Between 2011 and 2017, the flooded areas reached 32 places corresponding to 45,36% of the rate of concretization. It is clear that the flooded areas are directly proportional to the rising of the area of watertight surface, and also shows that the town planning in Bien Hoa city is not in sensible ways.
