My teacher told me that these sentences are wrong.

I'm Korean and my English teacher(Korean) said these sentences are wrong.

And I don't get it.

1. Make sure that you study hard every day.

-> She said the whole sentence is wrong.

2. Can I hang out with my friends?

-> She said I must use 'may' when I ask for permission from my parents.

3. Can I play computer games?

-> Same here. (I must use 'may' when I ask for permission from my parents.)

Thanks in advance.

May is correct, but sounds formal

In everyday English, can is the common word., and is not considered wrong
