The graphs show the amount of water used worldwide and the water consumption per person in Brazil and the Democratic Republic of Congo compared to their population and irrigated land.


First, the proportion of water has been used for agriculture, industrial use, and domestic use were all increased from 1900 to 2000. The farming took part in the most of the quantity, it started. At 500 km3 and rose steadily to 3000 km3 respectively. Meanwhile, the minimum of the water reached in the usage of industrial and domestic from 1900 to the 1940 and started increased slightly up to more than 1000 km3 and nearly 500km3 respectively.


The table illustrated the different categories of two countries, the amount of irrigated land in Brazil was 26.500km2 with the population of 76 million and water consumption per person was 359m3 whilst, in Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), there are only 100km2 of irrigated land with the lowest number of population (5.2million) and they consumed 8m3 water per person., respectively. Moreover, Brazil consumed more water while Congo consumed less water in irrigated lands
