My shoes beat/cankered/red marks my feet?

Hello!

I have a question about vocabulary, today.

You know when you wear a new pair of shoes, that might be a bit too small for you, and the they..... leave angry and red marks on your feet?

How does a native speaker say that in english?

Consider:

I bought a new pair of shoes.

They're too tight.

They chafe. / They are chafing my feet. / They are leaving red marks on my feet.
