My sentences

Hello,

I have rewritten my sentences to check them one more time. Could you correct them, please?

On a single piece of paper,
On a piece of paper,
On a sheet of paper
On a single sheet of paper
On a single paper
On a single sheet

You never use 'one' with either of them, am I right? Are there any other possible versions?

Isn't it possible to say for example; He wrote his name on a paper or on a sheet?

Thanks

Those are not sentences; they are merely prepositional phrases. Do you know the requirements for a sentence, Nina?

Oh, I removed them and left those phrases only. Are they correct?

Thanks

Yes, as they stand, but it is unwise to post only sentence fragments. What is correct in one sentence may be incorrect in another.

The examples were very simple;

He wrote his name On a single piece of paper.
Let's write our names On a piece of paper, or On a sheet of paper, On a single sheet of paper, On a single paper, On a sin

But what about these two questions above? Could you answer them too?

Do not capitalize 'on', since it is in the middle of the sentence: I hope you can now see what errors students can make that we cannot be aware of without a full context.

I just forgot to edit my post. I try not to make such an error. It really annoys meEmotion: hmm.
