My problem ...

I need to write it BUT I´m not sure which is the best sentence 1? 2? or other?
Could you help me?

1) The present inspection was the first inspection carried out after the relaunch of the health and safety procedure

2) The present inspection was the first inspection carried out after the health and safety procedure has been relaunched

Thanks in advance,
Ritinha

Hello Retinha It seems a little odd to have 'the present inspection' in conjunction with 'was', but perhaps your context justifies it. Anyway: 1) 'The present inspection was the first inspection carried out after the relaunch of the health and safety procedure(s)' - ok. 2) 'The present inspection was the first inspection carried out after the health and safety procedure(s) HAD been relaunched' - ok.
