My post was being sent ...

Hi

A woman was trying to open a wooden crate. She wanted to read some letters that were in it and there were also a lot of books. Actually she didn't know if there were any letters, but she hoped there were, I guess. A man who came to her house asked her what she was doing. She said:

I thought – in fact, I hoped – that my post was being sent on with my books.

Does it mean that she hoped that someone sent her (to the new address) the books and the letters in this crate?

Newguest Does it mean that she hoped that someone sent her (to the new address) the books and the letters in this crate? No idea. Are there any other clues as to what this may mean?
