My neighbor
I have a lot of neighbors. Some of them are very kind, others are somehow curious, we know each other very well. exceptionally there is an old man whom I used to think of as a boring person, living next to my house. He is may be at his eighties with a very wrinkled face. On that face, I am impressed by his warm and bright eyes. There is a rumour that he used to be a soldier. He has his own family but his wife died five years ago so he just lives alone now. Outwardly, he seems to be very quiet and reserved. To be true, he has live in this town for more than two years but seldom does he talk to other people. And I think I was so lucky to have a chance to talk to him, which changed my thought completely. Contrary to what people say, he is a very pleasant and humorous man inspite of his age. Moreover, he is extremly considerate. His warm smile, his gentle word always remind me of my departed grandfather. What I like most about him is that he usually teaches me many interesting things, especially real-life experience. Sometimes, I feel sorry for him, for his lonely life, but maybe there is nothing I could do for him except talikng to him. Now, I think of him as my second grandfather. To me, he is a very special person that I have to respect.
