My motivation letter. Look for suggestions

Here is my motivation letter for applying the Master degree in university. My major is Envrionmental Engineering. Everyone has the suggestion, pls be free to tell me. An entired modifiation is also welcomed.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I would like to apply for the Master's Degree in XXX University starting in winter semester 2012. I am studying in my last semester (studying on my thesis) in Bachelor of Environment Engineering in University of YYY. I would like to continue my studies in order to gain applied knowledge and experiences in your M.Sc. Program.

With growing need for the air and water pollution control, also, I am interested in optimization and domination of treatment and management. Therefore, I found my way and decided to dedicate myself to this field of study as enhancing academic and practical experiences. I have been attracted to this program, because first the purpose of this program is improvement and management, which I am really motivated. Second it is a field of study that covers air quality, solid waste and waste water control, which are being popular rapidly. Third the XXX University is well known for its combination of practical and basic knowledge, so I can easily research and do my projects during studies at university.

I have always tried to apply my theoretical knowledge in practice. This is why I made the best of my internship on water quality analysis in Environmental Monitoring Center in my university studies. As I got myself a flexible attitude and work well in team and independently from this internship, this is a good reason why I want to get further study in this master’s degree and work with professional team. Besides, I am a foreign student and the German culture let me deeply fascinated during my study here. As WASTE is an international program, I can look forward more for it. Also, my experiences of being a part of different cultures can help me to adapt to the study and life, meanwhile, give other people proper supports.

My future plan is focusing on both curriculum and practices. For me, as I have the intern experience on water, and the air quality shows more obvious influences on our daily life, I want to set my further study on one of these aspects. Furthermore, I will work with professional group in high technology companies to assess and improve practical processes. Additionally, I will continue my German language studying and reach a higher level during my school life. Also, my ambition is start my career outside of Germany or in international companies, so that I can share my real experiences and applied knowledge with the colleagues.
