My Motivation Letter

Hello!

I am a Mechatronics student and I want to apply for an Erasmus Exchange Programme. My professors told me that I am to write a good Motivation Letter. Because I haven't written such a letter before, I don't know if my letter is OK or not.

Could you please help me improve my Motivation Letter below? All of your help is very important for me. So thank you very much in advance.

Here is my Motivation Letter:

Dear Sir or Madam,

I’m writing to you in connection with Erasmus Placement Programme. European Union supports an on-job-training programme with in the framework of Lifelong Learning Erasmus
Programme, which covers Turkey as a candidate country. The programme includes university students as trainee in related firms, universities or instutions for three months. (July-September)

I’m a student at Sophomore Level of Mechatronics Engineering Department at Kar University Technology Faculty. I would like to apply for your company/instution/university as a trainee upon your kind approval. Aim of my internship is to learn much more things about mechatronics and have experience at Europe in terms of the mechatronics environment, discovering European culture
and tradition, adapting to hard and different conditions when I get alone on abroad.

Mechatronics is an international job. So that internship at Europe is necessary for my career. Also, I would like to improve my English. I believe that if I take advantage of this programme, this will create a difference between me and my rivals. My English is an intermediate degree and I’m affording to improve it.

I will not require any grant from your company/instution/university. Because, Erasmus Programme covers some cost of the students when they are abroad. So, I do not charge any fee and
also I will be responsible for my expenditures. Please check my CV and transcript enclosed to make your decision. If you decide to accept me as a trainee, could you please send me the letter of acceptance to the address given below. This acceptance letter should include your company/instution/university profile, scope of my trainee programme and the dates (July- September) of my internship.

Thank you very much for your kind interest.
