My long time doubt !!

Hi, I have posted this question in many english forums, but in vain. Hope I can find the answer here.

How to ask "which number of president are you for America?" Ridiculous... I know the question is wrong. Let me try this way... The answer is "Mr.X is the tenth president of America". To get this answer, what question should I shoot?

Thanks in advance.

And the question has been posted many times HERE AT ENGLISH FORUMS, by other learners as stubborn as you. One of the secrets to learning a new language is accepting that it does not always say things you can say in your own language (while at the same time, it can say many things that your language cannot). This IS one of them.
