My letter of motivation

Hello everyone. I'll be grateful and thankful to everybody who reviews my letter of motivation for a masters' degree in economics for German university.
My problem is that I graduated having major in Political Science, and now I have to persuade them this shift from Political Science is crucial for me and I am ready to study economics.

"I have grown up in a political guru family which has influenced on my decision in choosing Political Science major at Yerevan State University. After graduation I worked at a number of local NGOs with concentration on developing political discourse and solidarity among Armenia and foreign NGOs and partners through facilitating cultural, innovative, technological events. With time because of economical recession I had to change my job and automatically my field of interest shifted from politics to economy as I started working at XXXX bank in Armenia as XXX. Within short period time I challenged myself to deepen my knowledge in banking sphere so that I could receive promotion and be more helpful for my family. As a result of my persistency and hardwork I improved my knowledge and skills of banking and this helped me grow up to the position of XXX. Thus my area of interest changed completely through unlocking my potential as a productive bank worker.

With the globalization the trends in economy change at rapid pace and in order to have better understanding and skills I believe that it is necessary to receive education that will respond to the needs of the changing environment. Therefore to be able to keep up with the global change and be an accomplished specialist I believe there is an urging need for me to study in the field of EconomyXXXXX. My choice has fallen on the university of XXX because Germany has managed to build one of the most successful economies in the world. Two years of education from a German university will positively impact on my personal and professional development and give me a better comprehension of issues and their possible solutions that emerge in everyday economic world.

The German experience has sparked my interest in research on the subject of disadvantage of strong economy on values of contemporary civil society and related topics. Having reviewed the available opportunities at the University of XXXX, I have concluded that the two years of graduate study at the School of EconomyXXXX will help me probe deeper into the relationships between Power of Economy and Civil Society, and the various ways these influence each other in trying to achieve an overall economic and democratic way of development. The theoretical knowledge acquired will increase my understanding of Economy in the society and government, their interaction, the methods governments use to develop economic policy for boosting the economy and plans of action in order to address the needs of the society and to contribute to its sustainable democratic and economic development.

The acquisition of indispensable skills and profound knowledge in Economic ??policy?? and Governance will help me crucially in my future endeavours to become a highly qualified employee of Armenian both governmental and private sector structures where I will be able to reinvest my knowledge and skills as a young professional and shape a better society where everyone is equal.
