My leg was injured in a scooter accident.

Dear all,

Kindly see the sentence "My leg was injured in a scooter accident." I would like to know whether this is a passive voice sentence. If yes, please tell me its active form. I am unsure whether "injured" is used as an adjective here.

Thank you.

It's passive rather than adjectival, but there is no clearly implied agent, at least no uniquely implied agent, so no unique active form. I suppose the active sentence that comes first to mind is "I injured my leg in a scooter accident", but "... by me/myself" is hardly possible in the original sentence, so I don't think we can say that this is truly the corresponding active form.
