My hands are paining, cure someone from a bad habit

My hands are paining like a hell having written continuously 3 hours (in my notebook).
My hands are paining having beaten my students(kids) but they(students) don't seem to be cured from their bad habits(bad habits = not doing homework, not listening to teacher's lecture).
My children is a very rogue and bad person. It's now upto you to cure him from his bad habits.

Please correct my sentences and I'm also looking for a word to mean "to cure someone from someone's bad habits or something like that"

Thank you Clive.
Even in my part people consider my sentences are little unusual but I just meant to learn it.

I also think "reform" is a correct word so can I replace the word "cured" with "reformed" in the above sentences as :

My hands are hurting because I have been beating my studies, but they don't seemed to be reformed.

I guess "reform" implies they wil
