My friend says

Fortunately, a little bit of saving, and my family background allow me to be unemployed, for now.

Can this be said and is it punctuated correctly?

Thanks!

Hi Precious, I would omit the second comma, because the subject of the sentence is "a little bit of saving and my family background". Otherwise fine. Best wishes, David.
