my first question:is "neural destiny" anything about one's nerves?

Well, it's talking about gender differences in social intelligence skills. the author says, "gender differences in social intelligence are all but absent among the most successful leaders", and then she gets the conclusion ---- "Gender, clearly, is not neural destiny."

Will anyone kindly tell me the accurate meaning of this term? Thanks a lot.

  • The meaning seems to be simply that one's gender does not dictate one's type of social intelligence.

Thank you, Clive. Your guess above has made the "exact" point there. The author says there are some neurons in our brain that play an important role in our social behavior.
Well, the phrase "neural destiny" still sounds strange to me, although it might so
