MY FIRST IELTS WRITING TEST 1 ESSAY

Link the graph: https://ibb.co/LQqBTYp
The graph illustrates the number of family houses built in different US regions in 2006 - 2012.

Overall, there was a significant difference in the number of houses built in each region, but these numbers all dropped between 2006 and 2010.

The figure for houses differed significantly in each region. Most homes were built in the South, about 900,00 new houses were constructed in 2006. This number fell to slightly over 300,000 in 2012. However, it was still the highest number of all regions. The region which had the fewest houses built was the Northeast. The highest figure was just below 200,000 in 2006, and the lowest was under 100,000 in 2012.

In all regions shown in the graph, it can be seen that most houses were constructed in 2006, and after that time, the numbers decreased steadily until 2010. In the South and the West, the new homes built were dropped gradually from 2010 to 2012. Meanwhile, the number of houses built in the Northeast continued to fall, and in the Midwest, the numbers stayed stable.

The (What kind of graph?) graph illustrates (Poor word choice. Use "illustrate" for diagrams and pictures, not math plots) the number of single family houses built in different (How many? What were they?) US regions in 2006 - 2012.
