First of all, hi !
Today, I have created a blog about WebGL, which is a low-level JavaScript API. It gives the access to the power of a computer's graphics hardware. It makes it possible to create 3D graphics that update in realtime, running in the browser.
So I want to write my first blog-entry. I thought about something about that
(300 words, I´m proud of myself

):
Hello World !
At first I would like to introduce myself. I´m a 19 year old austrian student of a technical highschool. I´m in the IT (Information Technology) section, where I have learned webdesigning and programming. This is my final year in the highschool.
I always wanted to write a blog, but I never knew about what. As I said, this is my final year, so I have to do a diploma project which is based on programming. In case you don´t know what a diploma project is: Actually, a diploma project is like a regular project, but the main thing is, that this diploma project is required for graduating the highschool.
After some time of thinking about what I should do, I decided to do it in WebGL, because of it´s awesome power and options of representation. I have been working on my project since September 2011 and I can say that I am currently good at it.
What is WebGL?
"WebGL is a low-level JavaScript API giving you access to the power of a computer's graphics hardware from within scripts on web pages. It makes it possible to create 3D graphics that update in realtime, running in the browser. It's a web standard, so it doesn't need a plugin and will soon be available on many smartphones."
http://learningwebgl.comWebGL is revolutionary, but not really known. So we are all pioneers

This is my first Blog-entry and as the title says I will write here in my new born blog, tutorials, news and all the rest of it. WebGL is new, we have to shape it to something good together. I will give you an understanding of WebGL, at least I will try.

If you have questions or something to remark, please feel free to contact me

What do you think? Do you think it´s good?
