I like fashion designing and Interior cause its my favorite.This is what i love to do most

Hmm... How come we can say My favorite color is green but we can't say My favorite job is designing ? Does it have something to do with the fact that we can't use a verb after my favorite ?

We don't have that many jobs, so the latter is an odd expression. This kind of statement is reasonable though: My favorite part of designing is the drafting stage.
