my favourite foos is vegetable

is it a correct sentence in english? fish and chips is considered a plural noun or a singular noun? e.g i can say fish and chips is good or are good?

fish and chips is considered a plural noun or a singular noun? e.g i can say fish and chips is good or are good?- You can say either. It is considered a single dish, however.

(= food made without animals)
