My eyes open

Can anyone tell me if I can say;

My eyes open unintentionally.

I guess it would be better to say;

My eyes are open/opened unintentionally. But someone asked me that open can also be a intransitive verb.

Thank you for your kind explanation in advance.

Thank you Mister Micawber.
But I am still confused.
I can see "open" can be a intransitive verb.
"This door opens to the next office".
I can also open my eyes.
But when I think "my eyes open" as a sentence, I feel like it needs more to the context.
I can understand "When my eyes open, I can see all the things beautiful".
"My eye are opening wide".
When I heard som

I don't see any core to your confusion.

These are all right:

My eyes open.
When my eyes open, I can see all the beautiful things.
My eye are opening wide.
My eyes open unintentionally.
My eyes are opening unintentionally.

They all need context except the 2nd one, but that does not make them impossible sentences.

Thank you Mister Micawber.
Have a great one.
