My eyes craved to...

Hi

Are these sentences natural?

(Mother to her son abroad)

My eyes crave to see you.

or

My ears are craving to hear your voice.

In fact, these sentences are a literal translation of some of the expressions in my language. The emphasis is on the craving by the body parts (eyes, ears, hands) rather than on the simple "I".

Thanks,

Tom

Thanks, Jed.

So any other way of saying the same thing?

I would certainly use I rather than My eyes/ears.

Some people might use crave ; I almost certainly would not. I'd probably say:

I missed seeing you so much.
I missed the sound of your voice so much

Others might be more flowery.
