Overall, looking at the chart ,it's immedialy obvious that total production of electricity in both country has an experience on upward

In 1980, australia use coal as the main electricity source and reached 50 units, followed by Natural gas and hydro power (about 20 units), oil (just 10 units).

By 2000 in australia ,coal was greatest electricity generation by source in australia and remainder was producted from hydro power (36 units) natural gas and oil (just 2 units)

By contrast,in 1980 coal and natural gas was hugely popular with 25 units. .Although australia haven't used nuclear power to product electricity , in france it seem to use significantly with 15 units.In addition, the electricity made from oil,hydro (>20 units).

Over the course of 20 years,all of electricity by source rose (at many degrees) with the exception of hydro power and natural gas.

In general, the amount of electricity in france is producted more than how much electricity is producted in australia
