My email address is written/writing

Hello everyone! I have found a sentence in the internet.

My email adress is written with a hyphen not with an underscore.

The word "written" in the passive form?

Can I say for example: My email adress is writing with a hyphen not with an underscore.

What is the difference in this sentences between:

1) Is written
2) Is writing

Kind regards

Is written is indeed a passive form. Is writing is active, the present continuous: He is writing a letter now. You can't say My email address is writing because your address cannot write.
