My doubts about "Where did she buy it from?"

Can the sentence "Where did she buy it from?" be rephrased into "Where did she buy it?"(without "from")?

From is normally not used unless the goods that are bought travel from somewhere to the place where the buyer is:

Finland buys coffee from Brazil.
