My corrections

Hello,

I have corrected these phrases, but I still have some questions about them. Could you check them please?

1.We were sent in the laboratory two days ago.
2.This composition was written last week.
3.These three students were examined two days ago.
4.Have you been examined in the morning?
5.The telegram was sent late in the evening and he will get it only in the morning.
6.This article must be read by the whole group.
7.This exersice can be written with/by a pencil.(Is by also correct?)
8.All your compositions will be returned to you next week.
9.This letter can be written on a single piece of paper.
10.This letter can be written on one piece of paper.
11.Very beautiful women bags/sacks are made/produced at this factory.
12.Letters can be sent there only in summer/during summer and telegrams the whole year round.
13.A friend of mine is sent abroad every year.
14. Am I being waited for?
Is 'a piece of ' optional in 9 and 10?

"with" is more correct.

But 'by' is also possible isn't it?

No, I meant a woman's bag that is not used for carring potatoes. So only produced is correct and not made or done, right? But how to explain to a student why what I used was wrong?

To be honest,it sounds right too but I've never heard someone saying by a pencil but witth.(hope someone else will explain more).

If it was correct, it would be 'by pencil' anyway.

I unfortunately just found "to write in pencil" in one of dictionaries.(Macmillan).

I checked in my dictionary "Longman",it's written :
Write something with/in pencil.
It didn't mention "by" at all.

Why 'unfortunately'? That's what I corrected. Take a loot at it.

I said "unfortunately" because I found " write in pencil" just after you corrected it.(so you were the first who gave the right answer,though I found this example 'Shall I write with any pencil? also in dictionary and it's considered as correct.
With/in pencil are both correct according to Long
